Our Services
Breast Cancer Rehabilitation & Lymphedema Care
At TAG Physical Therapy, we provide specialized rehabilitation for individuals recovering from breast cancer treatment, with a focus on restoring function, improving quality of life, and supporting long-term wellness. Our care is designed for patients following procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, lymph node dissection, and a variety of breast reconstruction surgeries.
We commonly treat post-treatment conditions including shoulder and chest wall tightness, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), limited range of motion, axillary web syndrome (cording), post-surgical weakness, and complications related to chemotherapy and radiation. We also provide dedicated care for breast cancer–related lymphedema, helping patients manage swelling, support lymphatic function, and maintain long-term limb health. In addition, we address bone health concerns such as osteoporosis and osteopenia through safe, progressive strengthening and weight-bearing exercise programs designed to improve overall bone density and reduce fracture risk.
Treatment is individualized and may include manual therapy, scar tissue mobilization, manual lymphatic drainage, therapeutic exercise, mobility restoration, strength training, balance and weight-bearing exercise, and education on long-term self-management strategies. Our goal is to help each patient regain confidence in movement, restore independence in daily life, and safely return to meaningful activity and fitness goals.
